Description
Handcrafted with Kasturi Manjal and goat milk. A daily cleansing ritual for a natural, sun-kissed glow without staining.
Laboratory Evidence
Each botanical is cold-processed within 48 hours of harvest to preserve the full spectrum of bioactive compounds.
Erode, Tamil Nadu
Kasturi Manjal is the botanical species used exclusively in Tamil Nadu bridal rituals and traditional cosmetic practice — categorically distinct from culinary Curcuma longa. Its primary bioactive ar-turmerone demonstrates tyrosinase inhibition, collagen-supporting activity, and anti-inflammatory properties comparable to synthetic kojic acid, without the pH instability.
Kanyakumari, Tamil Nadu
Cold-pressed virgin coconut oil forms the soap's saponified base, contributing lauric and caprylic acid residues that persist on the skin after rinsing and provide a measured antimicrobial and barrier-supporting function. Kanyakumari-sourced oil has a characteristically high lauric acid fraction (49–52%) relative to inland sources.
Mysuru, Karnataka
Alpha-santalol in sandalwood powder suppresses UV-induced keratinocyte proliferation and modulates MITF transcription factor activity to reduce melanin deposition. The compound is oil-soluble and survives the cold-process saponification used to manufacture this bar, making its functional concentration in the final product measurably higher than in water-based formulations.
Wet the bar and skin with warm water. Kasturi Manjal's active compounds are more bioavailable at slightly elevated skin temperatures.
Work into a lather and apply to the face or body. Leave on the skin for 30–60 seconds during the wash — this is the active brightening window, not rinse-off contact.
Rinse with cool water. No yellow staining should occur — if it does, the bar has been mislabelled. Pat skin dry and apply a vitamin C serum to amplify the brightening mechanism.
